The KARCHER HDS601CEco (110v) is the market leading compact hot water steam cleaner. The 601 can deliver cold water, hot water or steam courtesy of its diesel powered burner. It's upright mounted coil design reduces hot spots and makes this machine far more reliable than many of its competitors. Unlike other machines in its class, the 601 can deliver detergent at high pressure to give a more powerful clean. It also features Servo Control on the lance to provide infinitely variable adjustment of water flow. This makes it possible to switch to steam mode without returning to the machine. The single knob control on the unit makes adjusting the settings of your machine convenient and user friendly. Other features include the flue gas temperature monitor and soft dampening system (SDS) that reduces pulsations and therefore increases service life. Flow rate is the amount of water that the pressure washer can output usually this is displayed as 'litres per hour'.When purchasing a pressure washer always take note of the flow rate as well as the bar pressure. Although Bar pressure is important, if the pressure washer has a low flow rate there may not be enough water flowing through to have an effective cleaning power.Many commercial machines have excellent cleaning power even though they do not have high bar pressure, this is as a result of their high water flow rate.Pressure Washers are NOT subject to hosepipe bans and may be used throughout a hosepipe ban.Use a 1 /2" or 3 /4" Hose as specified (1 /2" unless otherwise stated, fully unwound (Restriction of water supply can damage the pressure washer).Do not use a non return valve at the pressure washer end of the hose (This will invalidate any warranty and damage the machine)If extension lead is used ensure it is 13amp and fully unwound (Use of extension leads is discouraged as some higher power washers will not work with them)
